Refund and Deposit Policy

We want you to feel good about working with FineWright. This Refund Policy explains how deposits, refunds, and cancellations work. It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Our promise on the first direction
We stand behind our design. If we take a deposit and completely miss the mark on the very first design direction, and we cannot get it right, we will refund that deposit. This promise applies to the first design concept, before rounds of revisions and refinement have begun.
Deposits
A deposit reserves your project time and lets us begin work. It is applied toward your total. Before we begin any work, a deposit is fully refundable on request. Once work has begun, a deposit is refundable only as described in the promise above.
What is refundable
You may request a refund before work begins, and you are covered by our first-direction promise above. If you are ever unsure, reach out and we will talk it through fairly.
What is not refundable
Once work is completed and approved, it is not refundable. Time already spent designing and building after you approve the first direction is not refundable. Third-party costs we pay on your behalf, such as domain registration, stock photography, or paid fonts and plugins, are not refundable because we cannot recover them. Custom and scoped premium work is not refundable once delivered and approved.
Care plans and subscriptions
You can cancel a care plan or other recurring service at any time. Cancellation stops future charges, and your plan stays active through the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not provide partial refunds for the current billing period, and past periods are not refundable.
Add-ons
Add-ons follow the same principles as builds. Before the related work begins, an add-on can be refunded. Once the work is done, it is not refundable.
How to request a refund
Email hello@finewright.com with your name, the project, and what happened. We review every request personally and aim to respond quickly and fairly.
Please talk to us first
If something is wrong, please contact us before starting a payment dispute or chargeback. Almost every issue can be solved with a quick conversation, and we would much rather make it right directly.
